Sausage Gravy

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. New Breed Sizzling Sausage, crumbled
- oil, for sautéing
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup unflavored plant-based milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. Bragg liquid aminos (or tamari sauce)
- 1 tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
Instructions
Step 1
Blend cashews, milk, water, onion powder, garlic powder, Bragg and nutritional yeast until smooth.
Step 2
Crumble New Breed Sizzling Sausages into a pan with oil and cook until browned.
Step 3
Add gravy to browned sausage crumbles and cook until thickened, adding parsley flakes. Garnish with fresh chives and serve over fresh-baked biscuits.
